About This Event

Easter Vigil

This Easter Vigil, St. Mary Parish welcomed 5 newly baptized and 10 confirmed into full communion with the Catholic Church — a joyful and fruitful night of new beginnings for our entire community.

The Easter Vigil is the most sacred night of the year — a night of fire, water, light, and song as the Church rejoices in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. This year, our parish family was blessed to witness something truly beautiful: new members entering the Church and receiving the Sacraments of Initiation for the first time.

At this year's Easter Vigil, 5 candidates were baptized and 10 were confirmed into full communion with the Catholic Church. Through months of prayer, formation, and community, our OCIA candidates journeyed together toward this holy night — and the fruit of that journey was evident to all who gathered around the fire and the font.

For our parish family, the Easter Vigil is more than a liturgy — it is a living reminder that the Church is always growing, always welcoming, and always renewed by the grace of the Risen Christ. We are so grateful for each person who said yes to this call.

If you or someone you know is curious about the Catholic faith and what it means to belong to this community, we invite you to learn more about our Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) program. The journey is open to all.
